Aeroflot

We did a bit more for international relations and glasnost by bringing Moscow and New York a little closer when asked to handle the maiden flight and introduction of Aeroflot’s first non-stop, wide-body service between Russia and the USA. It was wide, it was non-stop, and it was two hours late.

But, we made all the local New York City news media, two networks, AP, and all of the travel trades sit up and take notice. The “caviar express” had arrived.
